Membership

Becoming A Member

Membership on the LEPC is not necessary for participation in LEPC activities or to attend meetings. In fact non-members are encouraged to attend and can participate on LEPC subcommittees. However, LEPC membership is organized to achieve a diverse cross-section of agencies, facilities, and community members and to promote ownership in the issues and tasks to be performed. As such, the membership positions are tied to Occupational Categories. In some cases, more than one occupational category may be applicable to an individual.
